The pile of books just keeps growing! The Doctrine and Ritual of High Magic and a suitable tarot deck for use with TDRHM are in hand. The French version of the book should be here tomorrow. I am going to attempt to pick up a bit French over the course of @ecosophia's next book club.
Still working on Chris Warnock's Astrological Magic course. Slow going mostly due to my getting distracted.
My Latin studies have progressed far enough I recognizes a word or two in paragraphs and maybe a sentence here and there.
Progress through the Dolmen Arch is very steady and unfaltering. Yay!
Back to the Coelbren for daily divination. Rune studies continue but for whatever reason the Coelbren really clicks for my daily life readings.
Time
An Experiment with Time, 3rd edition, by J.W. Dunne is in hand. @ecosophia recommended looking at this book for more depth regarding the nature of time and the occult. The third edition is the one in print and the one I bought. Some folks on a forum somewhere mentioned a few key pages were missing from some uploaded copies of the book. Looks good so far.
Experiments with time and meditation are underway! Having heard stories of people creating little time bubbles I spent a meditation session contemplating such things and maybe how to construct them.
Outcomes of note:
The meditation flew by with barely any recognition of the passage of time. A similar change in time perception happens at the beginning of other meditations when I shift my awareness so I lose a time reference for the moment my eyes close.
Intent to affect time does appear to be an important factor at least on my perception of time. Other experiments with atomic clocks and time bubbles do suggest themselves.
So far I have been visualizing time bubbles similarly to energy or chi balls. They have a different feel or maybe vibration than chi balls do. I am hoping to find a few clues on what to visualize in Dunne's book or in the other references in my archives.
Also, my Coelbren readings seem to be improving in accuracy rapidly. Feels like there is something important going on here. Instead of dipping into the time stream while asleep the symbols allow one to do something similar while awake.
Speaking of dreams they are becoming notably more lively and vivid again.
The dream thing is noteworthy because I have a solid history with precognitive dreams. Just not many recently for some reason. My guess is as I begin directing my awareness towards time the dreams will reflect the shift.
Oh almost forgot. A book well worth picking up is The Physics of Miracles by Richard Bartlett. The book has anecdotes and techniques to experiment with around time stream shifting and working with alternative time lines. Definitely bringing it out of the stacks and back to the current books section of my library.
