Labels and Paths
Quite the evening. Tonight I came across a chart in the back of Dion Fortune’s The Training and Work of the Initiate. Titled “Tabular Classification of Illuminism” the chart is a hierarchical outline of types of occult and mystical practices.
There as a branch under Mysticism is a name for my path all these years and with an accompanying description at that. Pantheism, which further branches off into Power and Beauty.
So a pantheistic mystic who does a bit of magic now and then! Funny thing about labels. They can both box us in and set us free. By seeing what I have been doing intuitively has been done by others i can now find their writings and expand my horizons,
Oh goodness. I have a whole new library to build now!

Not having read that DF book I was unaware of the chart. It seems like we are on similar paths though. Mysticism - tick. Pantheism, pretty sure about that. Beauty certainly. I don't know about me and Power.
