Downloading Free Books from IAPSOP

Last night I started downloading the archives of the International Association for the Preservation of Spiritualist and Occult Periodicals, IAPSOP. Fourteen hours in and still in the periodicals section with 110G downloaded. The site says there should be about 500G.

As part of their mission they do encourage people to download and keep a private copy of the archives. When I am done making a copy of the main archives I also plan on downloading all the archived courses. Having everything on my computer makes browsing and researching much easier. Lots of ideas to explore and build from waiting to be dsicovered.

If you are interested in keeping your own copy of the archives you can read directions here http://iapsop.com/subscribe.html for accessing and syncing via Google drive.

Update: Periodical downloads are finishing and monograph downloads are beginning! Yay!

Update on the update: Never mind. The periodicals are STILL downloading. I am the using rclone utility and it has 4 downloads going in parallel continuously. Every now and then one of the four is a monograph which gets downloaded. Over 26 hours of continuous download so far. I am only getting 2MBytes/s. My guess is google has the transfer rate throttled. Just let it run.

Update on the update on the update:
The download process is at 60 plus hours now. For an idea of how much storage you will need I am at 397G downloaded out of 535G total so far. Both numbers do keep going up slowly.
